Minerals from the sea; Bering Sea water

The power of the sea for your horse! Sea water contains all the minerals and trace elements that exist on earth. This is because everything on earth ultimately ends up in the sea through water. And the Bering Sea off Alaska is the cleanest sea on earth. With no less than 85 minerals, trace elements, and amino acids, Bering Sea water concentrate is a very healthy addition for your horse. Bering Sea water concentrate is also rich in fulvic acid, which is found in the cold current of the northern Bering Sea. Fulvic acid is known for transporting nutrients to the right cells in the body. 1 liter of concentrate is equivalent to 100 liters of Bering Sea water. Here, the table salt is filtered out. You can imagine that the concentrate is packed with minerals!

Similarity to blood plasma

The micro-elements in sea water do not float freely, but are bound to small single-celled algae, also known as phytoplankton. Those algae are not visible to the naked eye, but they play an extremely important role in the absorbability of the liquid lick stone. The algae serve as carriers for the micro-elements. Because these are in the algae, they can easily pass through the intestinal wall and be absorbed into the blood. With mineral supplements that are fed as oxides or sulfates, this is often a problem. A large part of the minerals is not absorbed, but excreted. Moreover: When a horse has absorbed enough micro-elements, it is also better able to absorb all the minerals and macro-elements present in its feed. A small amount of micro-elements thus improves the absorption of all elements of the diet (including hay and pellets).

The French biologist, biochemist and physiologist René Quinton (1866-1925) described the importance of mineral-rich sea water in his book on sea water as an organic medium. According to him, there is a direct relationship between sea water and blood plasma. He showed that blood and what he called 'ocean plasma' are interchangeable. That ocean plasma is essentially sea water minus the sodium salt. When you remove the salt from sea water, it has an almost identical mineral composition to blood plasma. This is why such ocean plasma is 100% absorbable in the intestines and has an almost identical supporting function for the body as blood plasma.

Bering Sea water as a supplement for horses

The concentrate of Bering Sea water contains all the necessary minerals for horses in a readily absorbable form. This is a good idea for the overall health of all horses. But it is especially recommended for horses with imbalanced blood sugar levels, such as horses with sweet itch, insulin resistance and allergies. Often, the intestines of these horses do not absorb nutrients very well. Minerals are always better absorbed in liquid form than via pellets. Therefore, you can make a separate water trough with the concentrate of Bering Sea water in it. But you can also give it directly into the mouth with a syringe or over the feed.

Bering Sea water concentrate for the pasture

Bering Sea water is not only very healthy for the horse, but also makes the soil and crops healthier. What is not in the soil is also not in the grass/forage. If you were to let all these sea minerals dry out, you would have enough to cover the earth's surface with a 150-meter thick layer of minerals. With this concentrate, you can re-add all the minerals from nature to your soil. This results in an increase in dry matter and a greater mineral density in both the grass and feed. Do you have a vegetable garden? Then don't forget to spray that as well. In a study on Kanzi apples, there were more minerals in the apples, both in the juice and dry matter. 5 liters is enough for one hectare of pasture. Treat your pasture with these minerals 3 times a year for the best results. No waiting time, horses can immediately access the pasture.
