Functioning of rue in horses

Rue is a herb with striking yellow flowers. Upon contact, this plant can have a photosensitive effect (skin inflammation/burning). Internally, rue has a positive effect on intestinal function and reduces cramps. It also has a relaxing effect on the respiratory system in cases of spastic bronchitis.
