The Geranium - an interesting plant

Many are familiar with the proverb Sitting behind the geraniums. It often sounds boring, because it's associated with older people who spend their days looking at flowers. However, geraniums are actually quite interesting plants. Since the 12th century, this plant has been part of the medicinal herbs of Hildegard von Bingen (1098 - 1179). As a result, the plant has become more well-known and it is known to be effective for conditions such as diarrhea, dysentery, bleeding, gum diseases, and hemorrhoids.
This plant is also beneficial for horses and can help alleviate various problems.
