Chlorella in horses

In 1890, Chlorella was discovered by a Dutchman and grows in large rivers and lakes in South-East Asia.

Chlorella is seen as a superfood and is a single-celled freshwater alga. Chlorella literally means "small green leaf" and owes its bright green color to the abundance of chlorophyll it contains.

Detoxification

  • Rich in nutrients

Chlorella is rich in nutrients

All vitamins (except vitamin D) can be found in Chlorella. But also minerals like calcium and iron, amino acids, and antioxidants. Chlorella is therefore extremely rich in nutrients and is very healthy as an addition to your horse's diet.

Chlorella also contains a lot of nucleic acids (DNA and RNA) which are important for the structure and function of body cells. As you age, less of these substances are produced in your body. It also contains the substance CGF (Chlorella Growth Factor) which is responsible for Chlorella multiplying every 10 hours. In the horse's body, Chlorella can contribute to a speedy recovery.

Chlorella helps to purify

Besides being rich in nutrients, Chlorella can also bind toxic substances. These toxic substances (heavy metals, medication, pesticides, etc.) are normally stored in fat, Chlorella helps to bind and remove them from the body. Chlorella plays an important role in detoxifying and cleansing the body.
